Graduated, What you can’t learn, that’s called learning!!!! :)

We learn so many technologies, just to give business more possibilities, let our imagination have a solid foundation rather than random thoughts.

Turns out the motivation for all my learning comes entirely from anxiety about the future.

My growth seems to need to race against time.

This year’s goals established, two points total. One is English, one is weight~

Bugs are a very important wealth of experience for the team

Recently learning motivation decreased, blog also a bit lazy to update. Mainly short-term goals achieved another one, anxiety decreased. This feeling is also quite good.

2020 finally shed the fat, lost nearly 40 pounds total. Every day standing on the scale, know what to eat today, how much to eat. Developed good lifestyle habits, weight maintained well. But English kept memorizing words for two or three months, then stopped again.

Today, I submitted my resignation. Mood extremely complex. Leaving the front-end team I built myself. Last year was under immense pressure, though the company recognized my work. Still, it couldn’t satisfy my sense of achievement. The older I get, the harder it is to feel accomplished.

Joined a new company. Three months in, still anxious. Never gone this long without owning a business unit before. The choice was right, but the pressure was intense. I used to be someone with a lot of ideas. Now I’ve just become a development resource.

A new project came up toward year end, a new team was forming. Joined without hesitation. Maybe out of unwillingness to give up, maybe to prove something.

Became the front-end lead of the new team again. But this time it didn’t feel as exciting as the first time. My +1 was a seasoned veteran in the industry. Working together was a pleasure. They gave me plenty of space when it came to execution.

Last March, we were about to start an internal AI project. Met someone on the team with an impressive background but questionable methods. Ended up in a heated argument. The project fell apart.

The internal AI project drained me completely. Developed severe anxiety. My body couldn’t take it anymore. Switched to a new team.
For the past year, I’ve been coding mostly with AI. Hundreds of dollars every month. I basically know where the current AI boundaries are. AI didn’t make development any easier.
